This picture is from Jay Tablante, my version of the disco Dazzler made for NYCC 2011. For this outfit, I didn't want to use white or silver spandex. The goal was to challenge myself and make an original interpretation that would be recognizable. I was inspired by Emma Frost's white leather outfit in the movie 'X Men First Class' so I went for white stretch man made leather. I decided to add rhinestones on the collar for a classic Elvis 70's look and to add a little more 'silver' touch. I added some technical details, quilting and pipings, in the back and on the knees. And I went for the total 70's look with cuffs and original roller skates with glued pieces of mirrors, plus the Farrah Fawcett hairstyle wig. One more time, it's an outfit that needed more than 120 hours to be completed.
